1. Scope

These terms apply to bookings via the website of Hotel zum Sportforum and to your stay at the hotel.

2. Contract formation

The accommodation contract is formed upon booking confirmation after a successful reservation. For online payment with a deadline, the contract is confirmed upon receipt of payment or subject to our cancellation terms if the deadline expires.

3. Prices and services

Prices shown at booking time apply, including statutory VAT. Included services (e.g. breakfast) are shown separately. Local tourist tax of the city of Blankenburg may be charged on site and is not included in the room rate.

4. Arrival and departure

Check-in from 3:00 p.m., check-out by 11:00 a.m. unless otherwise agreed with reception.

5. Cancellation

The cancellation tiers published on the “Cancellation & payment” page at booking time apply. No-show without timely cancellation is charged as stated there.

6. Liability

We are fully liable for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. Otherwise liability is limited to foreseeable, typical contractual damage for breach of essential obligations.

7. House rules

The house rules form part of your stay.

8. Final provisions

German law applies. Place of jurisdiction for merchants is Blankenburg where permitted.
