2. Overview

We process personal data when you use this website, book online, pay, receive emails and use the guest portal. Legal bases include Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract), (c) (legal obligations) and (a) (consent, e.g. marketing).

3. Hosting (Google Cloud)

The website and database run on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL). Server logs may contain IP addresses and timestamps. Data processing agreements with Google apply.

4. Booking & contract performance

Data: name, email, phone, address, stay dates, room choice, billing data, payment status, consents.
Storage: PostgreSQL database on GCP.

5. Payment (Stripe)

Payments via Stripe. We do not store full card details. Privacy: stripe.com/privacy.

6. Email (Resend)

Transactional emails via Resend (confirmation, magic link, notifications).

7. Channel manager (Beds24)

Availability sync via Beds24; booking and contact data may be processed there.

8. Guest portal (magic link)

Time-limited links (default 48 hours) for booking status and invoices. Tokens stored hashed only.

9. Contact form

Form data processed to handle your enquiry.

10. Marketing

Newsletter/offers only with optional consent during booking. Withdraw consent anytime via info@hotel-zum-sportforum.de.

11. Cookies

We use technically necessary cookies/local storage (session, booking state, cookie consent). Optional marketing cookies only with your consent:

  • hzs_cookie_consent_v1 (localStorage): your cookie preferences
  • Booking session (localStorage): temporary booking process data

We do not currently use Google Analytics or similar tracking.

12. Retention

Booking/invoice data: up to 10 years. Contact enquiries: typically 24 months. Server logs: as needed, typically up to 90 days. Marketing until withdrawal.

13. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), complaint to a supervisory authority.
